Auckland well known as the “City of Sails” is located on a narrow stretch of land rich in Maori and European history. It is the gateway to exploring New Zealand. Nestled between two harbours and 49 volcanic cones, this cosmopolitan city hosts an array of activities, eateries and stunning landscapes.

Located between the western and eastern coastal shorelines at the narrowest point. From the eye-catching black sand of the west coast to the spectacular golden sand beaches of the east and to the lush farmland that surrounds the outer edges, you will enjoy exploring this vast playground. Highlights include the vibrant Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter, our newest waterfront area and urban community, a visit to the Auckland War Memorial Museum** and a guided coach tour that includes CBD, University, Urban beaches, the Harbour Bridge and popular dining and shopping villages.

On conclusion of the tour board a Pride of Auckland yacht for their popular picnic lunch cruise. Visit the Viaduct Harbour before setting sail (subject to breeze) on the Waitemata Harbour. You are invited to take the wheel or help set the sail as you cruise under the Harbour Bridge and around the port area. On completion of your cruise journey you may spend the afternoon at New Zealand’s National Maritime Museum learning about Auckland’s rich maritime heritage and boating history.
