Day 1 – ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self-drive passengers will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.

Day 2 – AUCKLAND – BAY OF ISLANDS (B, L)
Travel north over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast. There is the opportunity to view mighty Kauri Trees enroute. The journey continues, travelling through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city and port, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about New Zealand’s historic treaty signed between the British Crown and the Maori Chieftains. Following this, take a ‘Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett’ cruise. Later this evening return to Auckland.

Day 3 – AUCKLAND (B)
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Auckland city including a visit to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter & the Sky Tower. The remainder of the day is free.
Day 4 – AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA (B, L)
Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof. On completion continue over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua. On arrival in Rotorua see New Zealand’s agricultural industry in action with a sheep shearing display and sheep dog trials at the Agrodome. Following this, visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see the Maori Cultural performance and the boiling mudpools and roaring geysers.
In the evening return to your accommodation.

Day 5 – ROTORUA – NAPIER (B)
Travel south to reach Taupo before travelling over rugged mountain ranges and well cultivated farmland to arrive in the ‘Art Deco’ city of Napier.

Day 6 – NAPIER (B)
This morning is at your leisure to explore Napier, before joining an afternoon Scenic wine tour that will visit and include wine tastings and the winery museum.

Day 7 – NAPIER – WELLINGTON (B)
Travel through the Manawatu Gorge to Palmerston North, travelling down the Kapiti Coast to arrive in the ‘Capital City’ of Wellington

Day 8 – WELLINGTON (B, L)
Today enjoy a full day city escape tour – Travelling north past the Pauatahanui Inlet you will experience Wellington through its native bushes & farmlands, Visit sites of Camp Russel, Battle Hill Park, Ragiatea Historic Church and experience breathtaking panoramic views from Paekakariki Hill plus savor some of our Master Chef refreshments at Ruth Pretty. Evening return to your accommodation.

Day 9 – WELLINGTON – PICTON – KAIKOURA (B)
Journey across Cook Strait, which separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand by the famous Interislander Ferry, and into the Marlborough Sounds with its sparkling clear waters and lush forests, before arriving in Picton. Travel south by the Coastal Pacific train through the town of Blenheim, before reaching Kaikoura. You shall be transferred to your accommodation

Day 10 – KAIKOURA – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
Today you shall enjoy the famous Whale watch cruise or an optional scenic flight (Optional activities not included in tour price). Later leave Kaikoura behind as you turn inland and travel through North Canterbury by the Coastal Pacific train to reach the ‘Garden City’ of Christchurch. You shall be transferred to your accommodation

Day 11 – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
Christchurch is known as the ‘Garden City’. Enjoy a half day city sight-seeing tour in the morning to uncover its rich history, you will visit the Canterbury Museum & Art Gallery, Mona Vale, Hagley Park, Botanical Garden etc.,. In the afternoon you will visit to the World’s Best Antarctic Attraction. The International Antarctic Centre its the “must see” attraction of Christchurch. Twice judged “The Best Attraction” in NZ, the Antarctic Centre is a polar experience (Admission included). A both ways free service of the Penguin Bus from the Cathedral Square to the centre is available.

Day 12 – CHRISTCHURCH – GREYMOUTH – NELSON (B)
Board the world renowned Tranzalpine train (only for seat in coach passengers) bound for Greymouth via the Arthur’s Pass National Park. Cross the Canterbury Plains, travel over viaducts and through tunnels and into the lush rainforests of the West Coast. On arrival in Greymouth board your coach for your journey north to Nelson. An afternoon stop is made Punakaiki where you can view the blowholes and pancake rocks.

Day 13 – ABEL TASMAN DAY TOUR (B)
Your full day tour to the Abel Tasman National Park commences with a morning pick up from your accommodation. Drive through horticultural areas to Motueka and on to beautiful Kaiteriteri beach where you board your launch. You have various cruise/walking options in the National Park during the day before returning to Nelson at approximately 6.00pm.

Travel by coach from Nelson down south through the west coast to reach the Glaciers by evening.

A full day at leisure to explore this magnificent glacier region. Optional activities include a scenic flight or guided walk on one of the glaciers. DAY 16 – GLACIER REGION – QUEENSTOWN
Depart the Glacier Region today through spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to Haast Pass, Gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Follow the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka to Queenstown.

Day 17 – MILFORD SOUND (B, L)
Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Here you shall be provided with a Lunch Pack. In the evening return to Queenstown.

Day 18 – QUEENSTOWN (B)
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, canyon swing, jet-boating, white water rafting, gondola rides, skydiving and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.

Day 19 – QUEENSTOWN – MT COOK – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
We leave Queenstown and travel through the rugged Kawarau Gorge to Cromwell and then up over the Lindis Pass to the Mount Cook National Park. Time is available for lunch (own expense) before continuing to Lake Tekapo. After a brief stop at the Church of the Good Shepherd, our journey continues across the Canterbury Plains to the garden city of Christchurch. Our arrival time is approximately 6.55pm.
Day 20 – CHRISTCHURCH – DEPARTURE DAY (B)
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer OR the return of your rental car.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% per person is required to confirm the booking at least 90 days PRIOR to the travel date. Payment of the deposit will indicate an acceptance of our terms and conditions by the purchaser and/or passenger. Final payment is due 21 days (for groups 35 days) before date of travel. In the case of bookings made less than 21 days (for groups 35 days) before the date of commencement, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Payments NOT received within the stipulated time frame may attract a late payment fee of 2% on the due amount.
CANCELLATION FEES
45 OR more days before departure, NZ$200 per person. Within 45 days before departure, loss of deposit. Within 10 days of departure 50% of the tour cost. No refund will be due within 24 hours of travel date. If you cancel, then each case will be considered on its own merits, as it will be dependent on charges made by individual suppliers and operators. Setting up your tour is complicated, as is cancelling the arrangements.
In case any of your events booked through TT Tours are required to be cancelled due to any unforeseen OR bad weather conditions, then you will be entitled for a refund of the booking amount as per the supplier’s terms in the following month, less NZD30 being our admin charges towards processing the refund.
